A 22-year-old George Gordon First Nation is in custody, after a fatal vehicle pedestrian collision on the reserve on April 3rd.
Punnichy RCMP determined that a 52-year-old George Gordon First Nation was struck by a vehicle, but the driver did not remain at the scene after the accident.
The victim was taken to hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Ty Hunter is charged with Failure to Stop After an Accident Causing Death, and he will make his first appearance in Punnichy Provincial Court on May 24th.
