Bird Flu Detected In Manitoba

Avian influenza has been confirmed in Manitoba. Although it hasn’t been detected in poultry flocks, several snow geese from Southwestern Manitoba and a bald eagle in the Dauphin area tested positive for avian influenza. Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Scott Zaari says several samples taken from western Manitoba were sent for testing.
