Manitoba released the weekly COVID-19 report for the week of April 10-16.

During that timeframe, 1,190 new cases were reported, a decrease from 1,694 the previous week.

The province says the volume of lab tests decreased to 951 people tested per day compared to 1-thousand 166 in the previous week.

The weekly test positivity rate is currently at 19 percent, down slightly from 20.7 percent.

When it comes to severe COVID-19 outcomes, there were 184 hospital admissions, including 22 to an ICU, and 12 more deaths.
