A winter storm warning is in effect for the Moosomin, Grenfell and Kipling areas as a Colorado Low is making its way through the Dakotas. Storm-total snowfall accumulations of 25 to 50 cm will fall with local amounts reaching 60 cm or more. Strong winds gusting 70 to 90 km/h are also likely, giving very poor visibilities in blowing snow. Winter storm watches are in place for areas including Dauphin and Minnedosa, and heavy rain warnings for the Neepawa area.
