Southeast Saskatchewan Could See Overland Flooding

The Water Security Agency is warning about the potential for overland flooding in southeast Saskatchewan.

With the last two snowfalls bringing a significant amount of precipitation to the region, and with warmer temperatures and rainfall in the forecast, the risk of high flows and localized flooding is high.

The area of concern is from Highway 1 to the US border and from Highway 47 east to the Manitoba border.

Communities that may be affected includes Moosomin, Whitewood, Kipling, Carlyle and Redvers.
