A Swan River man is being sought by Nipawin RCMP after an incident in Aylsham on Tuesday. Police located what turned out to be a stolen vehicle in the town, and tried to stop it, but the driver sped off. The truck was later found abandoned in Bjorkdale. A warrant is out for 31 year old Matthew Barker on 7 charges, including failing to stop for police. He’s 5’11” tall, approximately 250 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes and numerous tattoos on his forearms and neck, and may be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
