The 2022 Men’s World Hockey Championships is taking place later this month in Finland, and Team Canada will have some local flavour on their roster.

Melville product Damon Severson will suit up for his country at the Worlds running from May 13th to May 29th in Helsinki and Tampere.

Severson, who had 46 points in 80 games this past NHL season with the Devils, helped Canada capture Silver at the 2019 Worlds.
