Just over $500 thousand in Saskatchewan government funding is being made available to provide training support for some 100 Indigenous job seekers to enter the hospitality and tourism sector. The program will be offered by the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council Development, and YWCA Prince Albert. It will assist Indigenous job seekers to secure employment and focus on developing areas like employability skills, and skills training, and provide supports to employers and the successful new hires.
