A Dauphin man has been sentenced for his role in a drug bust in that city. RCMP executed a search warrant at home in April of 2020, and seized crack cocaine, a large sum of cash, and a cash-counting machine. In January, 28-year-old Travis Laquette pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. On Monday, he was sentenced to 18 months in jail, along with a 10-year weapons ban, and he must provide a DNA sample.
