A new court date has been set for a man charged with the alleged abduction of his seven-year-old daughter. In Regina Provincial Court Thursday, 52-year-old Michael Gordon Jackson, of the Carievale district, was remanded in custody, with his next appearance set for next Thursday. Saskatchewan RCMP issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Jackson on January 21st, after he was charged with Abduction in Contravention of Custody or Parenting Order. Police located him and his daughter in Vernon B.C., on February 24th.
