Another court appearance for a Neepawa man, facing 88 luring and child pornography-related charges. During an April 2021 traffic stop, Manitoba RCMP arrested 26-year-old Jaime Centeno when he was found to be breaching court-ordered conditions from 2018. An extensive investigation by Manitoba’s RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit revealed that a suspect was posing as a teenage male on Snapchat, requesting sexual photos from girls under the age of 18, and meeting some in person, between March of 2019 and April of 2021. Centeno remains in custody, and will make his next court appearance in Brandon on June 6th.
