Yorkton City Council approved amendments to the Zoning Bylaw and Zoning Map to allow for a Storage Facility to be built at 129 and 135 Myrtle Avenue, but there was opposition to it. Resident Terry Kashuba questioned the lack of information in the Public Notice to make an informed decision, while claiming there were contradictions to the Bylaw and Yorkton Community Plan. However, there was a notice sent to affected property owners, and the information was brief to let people know, and any concerns be brought to City Hall.
