The Canora Golf and Country Club will be opening in the next one to two weeks.

Mayor Mike Kwas is trying to drum up some interest by encouraging anyone who wants a membership to call 306-563-4104.

“Tuesdays are fun nights, Thursdays are men’s nights, and anyone interested in golf tournaments call the number as well.” Kwas added.

Kwas adds that the Rainbow Hall Markets are operating again, with the next one slated for next Friday.

“If you want to book, book in advance is recommended, so if anybody is interested in that, you can contact Lori at 563-7272, Shelia at 562-7313, or Natalie at 641-6272.”

Kwas adds that the Canora Town Office continues to accept donations for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

He noted the list keeps changing for items so to make a donation of an item, or cash contribution, contact Brandi at 563-5574.
