Accused in Camperville armed robbery case back in court

One of two men charged in an armed robbery case in Camperville, Manitoba, was back in court on Friday (13th).

Just before 6 p.m. on February 25th, Winnipegosis RCMP responded to a call of an armed robbery at a Camperville business on Highway 20.

It’s alleged two men wearing high-visibility jackets entered the business, threatened an employee with a firearm, then fled with cash and other items.

42-year-old Kory Flamand, of Winnipeg, remains in custody, on charges including Robbery with a Firearm, and he will return to Winnipeg Court on May 30th.

Police are still seeking his co-accused, 36-year-old Lindsay Joseph Fredette, who faces charges, including Robbery with a Firearm and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
