11 Saskatchewan Airports To Receive Provincial Funding

The Saskatchewan government has announced a $935,000 investment in 11 airports across the province, through the Community Airport Partnership (CAP) program.

Three local airports are among those receiving funding, including the Yorkton Municipal Airport, which will get just over $4,900 for an information broadcast transmitter and friction index equipment.

The airports in the R.M. of Moosomin and in Carlyle will also receive provincial money this year for infrastructure improvements.

When combined with matching local dollars, the provincial funding announced represents nearly two million dollars invested in community airports.
