Multiple capital projects underway or nearing completion in the Parkland Region

Some projects in the Parkland Region of Saskatchewan are either in the planning stage, getting started, or nearing completion.

In the planning, tendering, or design stage are a long-term care project in Grenfell, replacement of the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, replacement of a service centre at Duck Mountain Provincial Park, and water & wastewater upgrades at Moose Mountain and Echo Valley Provincial Parks.

Underway is the $19.1-million roof replacement and upgrades to the Yorkton Regional High School.

And projects nearly done are a new day use pavilion and upgrades to the Visitor Resource Centre at Echo Valley Provincial Park, near Fort Qu’Appelle, and a natural playground at Duck Mountain Provincial Park, near Kamsack.

These are a few projects that are a part of the provincial government’s $3.2-billion capital plan.
