Sports equipment are being sought after in Yorkton.
Mayor Mitch Hippsley notes the equipment is being collected for the Yorkton Sports Bank.
New, used or unwanted ball equipment, such as baseball gloves, bats, or helmets, can be dropped off at the yellow sports bank bin located at the Gallagher Centre.
Anyone looking to receive equipment from the sports bank can fill out a form at www.yorkton.ca/sportsbank.
Street sweeping
Despite the rain, street sweeping continues in Yorkton.
Mayor Hippsley states that sections one and two are now complete, and thanks businesses and residents that cooperated with moving their vehicles for the sweepers.
The sweepers are currently working on sections three and four in the city.

Line painting
Line painting has begun in the city of Yorkton.
Hippsley says city crews have started with school zone crosswalks.
He reminds everyone to slow down and watch for signs when near City crews.
It will take about two months to complete the work.
