A first court appearance has been made a George Gordon First Nation man, accused of causing a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision.

22-year-old Ty Hunter appeared in Punnichy on Tuesday, where his matter was adjourned to June 21st.

On April 3rd, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of a collision on the Geroge Gordon First Nation.

A 52-year-old woman had been struck by a vehicle that left the scene, and she died in hospital.
