Manitoba’s COVID-19 caseload has dropped again.
For the week of May 22-28, 416 new, lab-confirmed cases were recorded, down from the previous week’s 537.
The average number of people tested per day dropped to 621 compared to 704 in the previous week, and the weekly test positivity rate dropped to 13 percent from 15.4 percent the previous week.
Hospital admissions went up to 120, including 9 ICU admissions, and COVID-related deaths increased to 15.
As of May 28, in all Manitoba residents aged 5 and older, 83 percent have been fully vaccinated, while in residents aged 18 and older, 54.8 percent have received at least one additional dose.
