A Pasqua First Nation man who was arrested last month on several charges, has made another court appearance. Yesterday in Fort Qu’Appelle, 30-year-old Colten Obey pled guilty to Assault with a Weapon and a Breach charge, with another weapon charge withdrawn. and he was handed a six-month conditional sentence. He was released from custody, however he is scheduled to appear in Fort Qu’Appelle again on June 23rd, on a charge of Sexual Assault. Obey faced five charges in all, in connection with a number of incidents between August and December of 2021.
