Change Is Coming To School Zone Speed Limits In Yorkton

Changes are coming to school zone speed limits in Yorkton. Mayor Mitch Hippsley says it all starts with the new school year. Yorkton elementary school zones will drop to 30 kilometres per hour, seven days a week, but the high schools will remain at 40 kilometres per hour. Hipplsey says bylaw officers and the RCMP will educate drivers about the new speed limits during a phase-in period.
