Saskatchewan premier Scott Moe has pardoned his own brother Kris for a traffic violation. In May, an order in council was signed by the premier granting clemency to 30 people convicted under the Traffic Safety Act. Included was Kris Moe, convicted after driving through an amber light in January 2021 in Prince Albert. A spokesperson for the premier says he was not part of the discussions of who gets pardoned.
