7 Area Projects Share Federal Funding

7 projects in communities in east central Saskatchewan will share $1.2 million in federal funds to revitalize community spaces.  $450 thousand will go to upgrades at Yorkton’s Access Communication’s water park, $450 thousand for Porcupine Plain’s Larwood-Shaw Memorial Park, and $139 thousand for a bike and skate park in Preeceville. Other projects include $125 thousand to Esterhazy to improve the downtown area, $28 thousand to Bredenbury for the new community centre, $23 thousand for Grayson for a covered outdoor gathering space, and $20 thousand to renovate the Rose Valley drop in centre.
