A Former Yorkton Man Was Back In Court On An Attempted Robbery Charge

Another court appearance for a Yorkton man, facing charges stemming from an attempted robbery. On October 7th in Arelee, Biggar RCMP say a man was approached by another man and assaulted, and after an unsuccessful attempt to steal the man’s vehicle, the suspect fled in an SUV with two other people. Police arrested the trio, and a further investigation determined that they had also allegedly broken into a residence in the R.M. of Eagle Creek. 29-year-old Rocky Meechance faces multiple charges, and yesterday (MON), his matters were adjourned for a bail hearing on June 20th, in North Battleford.
