Good Seeding Progress In Sask. Last Week

The Saskatchewan weekly crop report says 91 percent of spring seeding has been completed, province-wide. Seeding in the east central region sits at just 77 percent. Saskatchewan Agriculture’s Matt Struthers says producers were able to get a significant amount of planting done over the past week, due to good weather conditions, but he says many acres in eastern Saskatchewan may not be seeded this year, due to excess moisture and standing water.
