The MLA for Manitoba’s Riding Mountain constituency has been elevated to premier Heather Stefanson’s inner circle. Greg Nesbitt has been named Manitoba’s new minister of Natural Resources and Northern Development after a swearing in ceremony at the legislature. Nesbitt was first elected in 2016, and takes over the portfolio following the resignation this week of Scott Fielding, who is leaving politics to pursue opportunities in the private sector.
