Manitoba Announces More Support For Ukrainian Refugees

Ukrainian refugees fleeing the Russian invasion of their homeland, are getting a little more help from Manitoba.

Ukrainians who have arrived in Canada under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel temporary resident visa can be reimbursed for their federal immigration medical examination, if they paid for it themselves.

To be reimbursed, Ukrainians must provide their name, address, personal health identification number and a receipt from the physician’s office.

Over 1,700 Ukrainians have attended the provincial reception centre to date.
