May of 2022 saw an increase in jobs in Saskatchewan compared to May of 2021.
In May of 2022, 19,800 jobs were added, an increase of 3.5% compared to May of 2021.
All of the growth was in full-time jobs, while the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 4.8%.
The unemployment rate is down from 6.1% a year ago, 5.5% a month ago, and below the national average of 5.1%.
