Federal health officials have provided yet another update on the monkeypox situation in the country. Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says their most recent numbers show 112 cases across Canada, but is expecting more omce testing is complete on samples sent to the national microbiology lab in Winnipeg. Dr. Tam says the National Advisory Committee on Immunization is recommending a single dose of a health Canada approved vaccine for the virus.
