A local dealership received a major award.

Yorkton Hyundai was presented the 2021 President’s Award of Merit yesterday (Tues), presented to the top performing Hyundai Dealerships across Canada.

Dealer Principal Ron Kaban says its exciting to receive the award.

“In Canada, there’s 140 Hyundai stores and I think there’s only a top 10 that make it in Canada, so in trying to make in a smaller market like ours is kind of unheard of,” Kaban said of the likelihood of winning this award.

Kaban says winning this award shows the level of service and leadership his staff brings to customers.

“It’s all about service in this industry. If you take care of the customers they’re definitely going to come back; the reason they’re coming back is because we are looking after them.” he said.

When asked how they were going to celebrate, Kaban said there might be a barbecue this summer with the staff.
