A new development in the case of a man charged with the alleged abduction of his seven-year-old daughter.
In Regina Provincial Court yesterday (WED), 52-year-old Michael Gordon Jackson, of the Carievale district, was committed to stand trial by judge and jury in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench.
He remains in custody, with his first appearance there set for July 22nd.
Saskatchewan RCMP issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Jackson on January 21st, after he was charged with Abduction in Contravention of Custody or Parenting Order, and police located him and his daughter in Vernon B.C., on February 24th.
