Seeding’s Nearly Done In Sask.

The Saskatchewan weekly crop report says 98 percent of spring seeding has been completed, province-wide. The last bit of seeding yet to be done, is in the east central and southeast regions of the province. Saskatchewan Agriculture’s Matt Struthers notes topsoil moisture conditions have improved over the past week, but with recent rain in eastern Saskatchewan, some areas will likely go unseeded this season.
