Another court appearance for a man charged in an alleged assault on the Standing Buffalo First Nation last June. 23-year-old Christopher Maple of the Standing Buffalo First Nation, is committed to stand trial by jury on a charge of Attempted Murder, starting April 24th of next year, though his next pretrial appearance in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench will be on September 16th.
A Regina man who will stand trial for Second Degree Murder, in connection with the March 2021 death of a Vibank man, has a new court date. 26-year-old Anthony Seon, who is charged in the death of 45-year-old Lawrence Robert Godfrey, remains in custody awaiting trial, with his next pretrial appearance in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench set for July 20th.
Another court appearance for a Piapot First Nation woman committed to stand trial this fall, on charges related to a fatal collision on the reserve in the summer of 2019. The jury trial for 45-year-old Leah Pratt, who is charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Criminal Negligence Causing Death, is set for October 3rd, in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench, with her next pretrial appearance there set for August 18th.
And a Roblin man charged in connection to an October 2016 traffic stop near Fort Qu’Appelle four years ago, has made another court appearance. In April of 2019, 34-year-old Dylan Bodnariuk was ordered to stand trial on two charges of Unsafe Storage of a Firearm, and he will make his next pretrial appearance in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench on July 22nd.
