A Memorial For Residential Schools In Sask.

As part of National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Government of Saskatchewan unveiled the Saskatchewan Residential School Memorial on the grounds of Government House in Regina. It features a large stone that depicts the province and the locations of each former residential school. The memorial is composed of all-natural elements, acknowledges the earth, symbolizes the circle of life.
