Cornerstone Credit Union Probes A Security Incident

An investigation into a cyber security incident at Cornerstone Credit Union June 8th is ongoing, with help from world-class cyber security experts. Cornerstone CEO Doug Jones explained they shut down their network out of an abundance of caution, affecting all branches as well as the bank’s ability to process transactions in-branch, but by June 16th it was announced that everything was restored. Other services such as ATMs, digital banking, mobile app and debit and credit cards remained available for members during that time. Jones says they’re not aware of any members being affected.
