Jail For A Sask. Man On Numerous Charges

A George Gordon First Nation man arrested on numerous charges related to a trio of incidents, has been sentenced. On December 24th, Mounties say a man entered a home on the First Nation, discharged a firearm, demanded money from one resident, and assaulted another. Then, on Christmas Day, police say a firearm was discharged at the same home, and on the 29th, the exterior of the building was damaged by fire. On Friday, 36-year-old Joshua Bitternose was sentenced to seven years in prison, and received a lifetime firearm ban.
