A Bjorkdale Man Returns To Court On Drug/Weapon Charges

A Bjorkdale man was back in court yesterday, facing numerous drug and weapon charges, in connection with the March 30th search of an Archerwill residence. Mounties found quantities of drugs, including LSD, crystal meth, OxyContin and other assorted pills, as well as cash, ammunition, and various weapons, including a taser, machete, and an illegally-modified firearm. 54-year-old Rudi Betthel, who also faces similar charges, stemming from the search of a Bjorkdale home in March, had his matters adjourned for a bail hearing on July 13th, in Saskatoon. His co-accused, 38-year-old Holly Schweitzer, of Archerwill, will return to court in Rose Valley the same day.
