More Child Care Funding In Manitoba

Child care in Manitoba is receiving a boost from the Manitoba and Canadian governments. Both federal and provincial governments are allocating 8.1-million dollars to support new, ongoing operation grants that will fund more than 31-hundred early learning and child-care expansion spaces and 177 facilities. Manitoba will invest 4.8-million dollars that will fund 2-thusand 294 school-age child-care spaces for children aged 7-12. An additional 3.3-million dollars is also being allocated to fund 815 child-care spaces for infants and children under the age of seven.
