Ukrainian Refugees Land In Regina

230 Ukrainian citizens’ first steps on Canadian soil were in Regina last night, part of a humanitarian flight from Poland that brought the citizens feeling the worn-torn country. Canora-Pelley MLA Terry Dennis, the Legislative Secretary Responsible for Saskatchewan Ukraine Relations, says they will lstay at the U of R for the next two weeks to find more permanent housing. For now, they will be receiving their health cards as well as getting help with future housing, employment, education, community support and more.
