The Saskatchewan Health Authority advises that inpatient and emergency services will not be available at the Kamsack hospital starting Wednesday until further notice. The emergency department at this facility will only be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, and anyone needing service outside those times should call 9-1-1 or go to Canora, Kelvington, Wadena or Yorkton. Staffing shortages are the reason. Lab and x-ray services will remain operational Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and Primary and Long Term Care Services remain unaffected as well
