Motorists in the area are told to be on the lookout for bison.

30-50 yearling bison have been spotted wandering along Highway 10 between Yorkton and Melville, and between Highways 10 & 47 as far north as Highway 52.

Motorists are advised by Melville and Ituna RCMP to use caution while driving in these areas.

RCMP confirmed there was a collision between a bison and a semi on Highway 10, but that remains under investigation.
