The Man Charged With Hitting A Roblin Mountie With His Vehicle Was In Court

A San Clara man accused of hitting a Roblin RCMP officer with his vehicle, has a new court date. On Saturday, the Mountie conducted a traffic stop at a campground on Highway 83 in Roblin, in which he informed the driver that the vehicle would be towed, due to it being unregistered. The suspect then allegedly entered the vehicle, reversed at a high rate of speed, and hit the officer before taking off. 31-year-old Matthew Paul will be back in Roblin Court on August 18th, facing charges including Assaulting a Peace Officer with a Weapon and Flight from Police.
