A Dauphin Woman Faces Charges In A Drug Bust Last Thursday

A 31-year-old Dauphin woman faces a pair of charges following a traffic stop last week in the city, that resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs. Last Thursday night, Dauphin RCMP and the West District Crime Enforcement Support Team stopped a vehicle on Railway Avenue, in connection with an ongoing drug investigation. Mounties recovered 2-point-77 grams of cocaine, and point-66 grams of Purple Down, a mixture of fentanyl and carfentanyl, often including heroin, that can be cut with other drugs. The accused, who has not been publicly identified, has been released from custody, to appear in Dauphin Court November 22nd, on charges of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
