The latest weekly COVID-19 report for Manitoba shows 257 new cases recorded during the week of July 24-30, an increase from the previous week’s 242.

The weekly test positivity rate was up to 17.9 percent, an increase of just 0.8 percent compared to the previous week.

Hospital admissions went up from 45 to 53, ICU admissions went down from 8 to 7, and one death was recorded.

Three COVID-19 outbreaks at long-term care facilities were recorded during the last week of July.
