A court appearance has been made by one of three people arrested in connection to a stand-off at Ebb and Flow First Nation.
On July 27th, at around 7:35 a.m., Ste. Rose RCMP received a report of a 38-year-old man with several outstanding warrants, at a residence on the reserve with two other individuals, also with warrants.
After several hours of negotiation, which included the surrendering of a firearm and several explosions that caused a fire at the home, the three suspects turned themselves in.
37-year-old Manuel Houle appeared in Dauphin Court yesterday (Thu) and had his matters adjourned to Tuesday.
His co-accused, 38-year-old Lyle Malcolm will also appear in Dauphin on Tuesday, while 27-year-old Tyson Racette is set to appear on August 23rd.
