The Saskatoon Police Service, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, have located 48-year-old Dawn Walker and her 7-year-old son Vincent Jansen.
Police say they were found safe in Oregon City, Oregon. Walker and Jansen were last seen July 22nd in Saskatoon, and their truck and some belongings were later found at Chief Whitecap Park.
Police also say the two had illegally entered the United States. Pending any action from U.S. authorities as a result of the illegal entry into the States, Walker will be returned to Saskatoon to meet with investigators, and details are being worked out for returning Vincent to a legal guardian.
Police will hold a media availability on the matter on Monday, August 8th.
