A woman who disappeared from Saskatoon with her 7-year-old son and was found illegally in the United States, is facing several charges from both Canada and the USA.
Dawn Walker is being charged in the US with Use of False Statements with use of a Passport to Identify Another Person and Possession of a Stolen or Illegally Produced Document.
She remains in custody to appear in a US Court today, and she will remain in the States for the short-term.
Walker is also charged in Canada with Parental Abduction in Contravention of a Custody Order and Public Mischief, and she could face further charges.
Her 7-year-old son Vincent was picked up by a legal guardian in Oregon, and he is now back in Saskatoon.
