Indian Head RCMP are investigating a series of thefts and damage to rural property in the Indian Head and Qu’Appelle areas over the past week.

The first occurred near Indian Head last Friday (Aug. 5), where a farm tractor was stolen, but later recovered not far from the property, and there was significant damage to the door of the building.

The second was reported yesterday (Mon) near Qu’Appelle, where fuel from a tractor was taken and extensive damage was also done to the building.

This morning (Tues), police received a call about a man who was on a rural property east of Indian Head loading items onto a trailer, but fled once he was discovered and headed west towards Regina on Highway 1.

The vehicle is described as an older dark coloured GMC Envoy pulling a homemade trailer.
