SGI Says Be Aware Of Farm Equipment On Highways

As harvest gets underway, SGI is reminding you to watch out for slow farm vehicles on grid roads, and the occasional highway. SGI’s Tyler McMurchy says patience could be your best bet when rolling up on slow moving farm vehicles. Some tips from SGI include making sure its clear, and safe to pass, and that you have plenty of room. Farm Vehicles may have flashing lights, but no turn signals to its best to give them plenty of room.  In the last five years, 86 crashes involving farm equipment on Saskatchewan roads have resulted in 41 injuries and seven deaths.
