A new court date has been set for one of two men facing weapon charges, following their arrest in Regina. On January 10th, police pulled over a vehicle with two men inside, and noticed a firearm in plain view on the front seat, along with a large knife under a seat. 34-year-old Joshua Bird, of Kamloops, B.C., appeared in Regina Provincial Court yesterday, and was remanded in custody to next Tuesday. An arrest warrant remains in effect for 22-year-old Walker Rennie, of the Punnichy district.
